Refund Policy
Nifdi Systems Limited · last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains refunds and cancellations for paid nifdi subscriptions purchased from Paddle. Paddle is the seller and Merchant of Record. Nifdi Systems Limited (“nifdi”, “we”, “us”, “our”) supplies and licenses the nifdi Service under our Terms of Service. This policy forms part of, and is governed by, our Terms of Service.
Responsibilities
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Responsibilities are divided between Paddle and nifdi as follows:
- Paddle handles the purchase: payment, tax, receipts and invoices, subscription cancellation, withdrawals, refunds, chargebacks and other transaction-related questions.
- nifdi handles the product: using the Service, technical problems, accounts, diagrams and data. Contact support@nifdi.app for product support.
Paddle decides requests made under its Refund Policy and processes all approved refunds, normally to the original payment method. nifdi decides whether one of the additional promises under “When we make changes” below applies, and asks Paddle to process any refund due.
Refunds and withdrawal rights
Refunds are governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy. It explains how Paddle handles applicable consumer withdrawal rights, product defects and refunds it may grant at its discretion. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, it explains your 14-day right to withdraw and how that right may be affected if you ask for access to paid features to begin during the withdrawal period. The effect depends on applicable law and on the consent and acknowledgment you give at checkout.
Nothing in this policy or our Terms limits any mandatory right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing in your account settings, through the Paddle customer portal linked from your receipt, or through Paddle.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for and prevents another renewal. Cancelling does not itself refund the unused part of that period unless a refund right applies.
What happens to your diagrams is set out in section 12 of the Terms: cancellation does not delete them.
When something is broken
Contact support@nifdi.app first if the Service is materially defective or does not work as described. We will investigate and try to fix the problem within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, and we aim to do so within 14 days. You do not need to wait for that 14-day period to end before seeking any remedy available to you under applicable law. If the problem cannot be resolved, request a refund from Paddle and include the details of the problem and our response. Paddle’s Refund Policy explains how it handles product defects. This does not affect your statutory rights.
When we make changes
If we materially reduce what your plan includes, change our terms in a way that materially affects your rights, or withdraw the Service, and you cancel because of it, we will refund the unused part of your billing period through Paddle. Where we make that refund, your paid features end when the refund is made. If we raise the price, we give at least 30 days’ notice for monthly subscribers, and at least 60 days’ notice for annual subscribers, so you can cancel before paying the increased price.
How to ask
Request a withdrawal or refund using the support link in your Paddle receipt, the billing page in Paddle’s customer portal, or Paddle.net. For a refund promised because nifdi changed a plan, changed its terms or withdrew the Service, you may instead email billing@nifdi.app with details of the relevant change and how it affects you. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days, consider it reasonably and in good faith, notify you of our decision and, where a refund is due, ask Paddle to process it. Our written confirmation records our approval; it is not a condition of your entitlement. Please make any such request within 30 days after the relevant change or withdrawal takes effect or, if later, within 30 days after we gave you notice of it, or within any longer period required by applicable law.
Paddle processes approved refunds, including applicable tax, using the original payment method where possible. Its Refund Policy states the applicable processing period. A refund under “When we make changes” is the amount you actually paid for the unused part of your current billing period, including the corresponding tax.
